The Gold Electrostatic is a permanent, washable furnace filter. Layers of synthetic media build a natural static charge as air flows through, attracting and holding dust, pollen, dust mites, pet dander and other allergens. It needs no electricity and produces no ozone.
Why choose a permanent filter
- Wash and reuse: no more buying disposable filters every few months.
- Built to last: rigid extruded aluminum frame with a protective expanded-metal face.
- Easy removal: pull strap for sliding it out of the furnace.
- Low airflow resistance: 0.18" w.g. initial resistance, so your system doesn't have to work harder.
How to clean
- Slide the filter out and note the airflow arrow.
- Rinse with a garden hose or in a laundry tub, spraying against the direction of airflow. Use mild dish soap if needed.
- Shake off excess water and let it drip-dry before reinstalling.
- Check monthly and clean every 1–3 months, more often with pets or during heavy-use seasons.
